Lighthouses.....in series (2)

This is the lighthouse that sits in Michigan.......St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area of Lake Michigan. It has a very long concrete walk out that the local fisherman spend all day casting and exchanging old fish stories with anybody that happens to smile their way.

Ahhhhh did you go to Fort Niagara while in Niagara Falls? There is a lighthouse there. There's also one in the southern tier on Lake Erie. Its near Dunkirk/ Lakeshore area. I cant think of it now though.

I like your photos. You have real eye for colour and contrast, something I lack. Your compositions are all centered and symetrical, though. Your main subjects are always smack in the middle of the picture. Experiment with compostion. If you imagine a grid on your photos rather like the game Xs and Os, try putting your main subjects where two lines intersect.

MY DAUGHTER IS A LIGHTHOUSE NUT. HER WHOLE FRONT ROOM AND SOME IN THE REST OF HER HOUSE IS ALL BIG SHIPS AND LIGHTHOUSES. GUESS WHAT SHE GETS FOR CHRISTMAS EACH YEAR? LOL! WE TRY AND ADD TO HER COLLECTION. I DONT THINK THE LIGHTHOUSE WILL EVER LOSE ITS CHARM.
