FOOD FIGHT!!! lol

Another late night talk, face to face with My Jim.....This man knows me so well! lol lol lol

Recently my Brother made a total ass of himself at my SIL's expense while out in a very nice restaurant in the Burbs of Chicago...let's just say his temper overshot his table manners and somehow the Woman that was sitting behind my SIL ended up wearing my SIL's dinner...let me digress for a moment....

When I started therapy over 13 years ago....I was asked if mental illness ran in the family...sucha loaded question for this crazy extended family of mine....I said, "Let's just put it this way...I'm the only one ready to admit that fact right now!" lol lol lol And so far I am the only one that has ever sought help to heal childhood wounds....among other things.... so, two years of therapy, two years of Prozac and I'm all better now! lol lol lol

So while my Brother was apologizing to this poor woman who ended up being target practice for the night....My Brother and my SIL took the fight home....none of my business...they both choose to stay together...so therefor deal with each other.

So I am laying in bed with Jim the other night letting that scenario play over and over in my head ( I just recently learned about it via the SIL) and I asked Jim..."What would you have done if someone threw their dinner and it accidentally hit me?" He is very protective of me....always has been, but then again he knows me so well....so after I see a smirk cross his face I said, "What is so funny Pal?" He said, "I would have had to go over there and peel you off of him!!" I laughed so hard it hurt because that would be sooooo true!!!

By the time Jim would have reacted I would have been all over that man! lol lol lol Let's just say my reaction time is just a wee bit quicker than my Jims but then again so is my temper! lol lol lol

LOL, I definitely would be on someone's head for pelting me with food, it would be an all out brawl that's for sure.  Hugs, B

I  think I"d be in "shock" over the situation and sit there with my mouth hanging open, increduously.  I'm so not the fighting kind.  He better have paid for our meal, too!

Kim, just love your sense of humor and strongness, guess I see alot of me in your way of dealing with all that life gives us....it is what will get us through anything that touches our lives......my personal motto has always been "No One Or Nothing Will Get Me Down" and it really works for me and I believe that it is also your motto dear.   Have a good day, hope you enjoyed your jammie day yesterday. Kim, what a blessing to check my email and see that you posted a comment on my blog.  Your blog is such a blessing to me.  Thank you for your wonderful sense of humor.  Your stories are perfect in their simplicity, wit, and charm!  No need to ever mince words.  The truth is what people need and WANT to hear.  You keep doing what you're doing.  There is no way that this cancer can beat you!  I will continue to pray for you.  I hope you're feeling well today.  Battle on, Pink Warrior!   Love, Jamie

P.S. Yes, I am the Jamie that donated to the Y-Me Foundation.  We have got to find a cure for this dreaded disease!  And I know you're just the person to get it out there for people to sit up and take notice!  God bless you, Kim!

Reminds me of the time when I was about ten months pregnant with my second child and we were at a toy store at the mall with our (then) three and a half year old firstborn. I guess I was about... 22.... and barely able to move... when some kid decided he wanted the toy my kid was playing with and slapped my kid across the face to get it... before my (then) husband realized what was happening I had this other child suspended in midair giving him a good case of shaken baby syndrome... my (then) husband had to peel the kid out of my hands. I'm not quick tempered but I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to defending my rights... *snicker*
Hmmm... food fight in a restaurant... that's one level of dysfunction that I've managed to avoid thus far.
*hugs*

lmao...we were in a local bar one night....a large bar...and my best friend was there with us and so was an ex boyfriend of hers....He called her the "C" word several times...and I intercepted him at some point in the night and tried to reason with him...calmly telling him that we were all just trying to have a good time and could he please save his angriness for another night when it was not my birthday... :)  He then proceeded to call me the "C" word and when he did?  My right hand went up to slap him and he blocked it....before he could get a good hold on my arm?  I had popped him with my other hand...I slapped him so hard that he couldnt hear for 2 days (so i heard..lol..) When the bouncers alerted my hubby that I had just slapped someone hard enough to leave a mark all the way across his right cheek and his ear was red? and it was a man?  All he said was "ok go stop her if you can and I will go get the car and pull it around to the front door..." :)  and you know what?  DAMN IT FELT GOOD TO SLAP HIM!  And it is one of our favorite "stories"...lol...when she and her hubby argue?  I always as her..." Want me to smack him for ya?"  If he had laid a hand on me, no doubt Wayne would have hurt him...and he knew it....lol....but they would have had to pull me off him first...lol...for Wayne to get to him....oh and btw i had been drinking tequila all night and was feeling pretty much 10 ft tall and bullet proof....lol
