Dear God......

Dear God,

As you well know my life has not been an easy one, there was the difficult childhood, my self destructive years following the loss of my Father at 16. I've had to deal with many things some people will never come close to. Some things that people couldn't even fathom happening to them, but I've dealt with it and I'm not bitter.... and with some of that history, I am very lucky to be alive.

I've handled cancer very well, I did not shed one tear over the loss of my breast or my hair,(OK, that hemmroid did cause me to cry once, just once! lol) I have survived raising 2 teenage daughters and I am handling raising the other teenage daughter and son who are still living at home relatively ok (a slightly different pain in the ass) I've handled my disappointments in life with some semblance of grace....I now know I will never fit into my size 5 Levi's button fly jeans from High School ever again and I've even gotten over that fact and donated them to Goodwill......just last week. I have even dealt with the DH's crazy ex-wife....with me always taking the higher road. (find entries in the archives...so worth the read! lol)

But God? Seriously?....... Pimples? (Oh Yes...Plural!)At the age of 44?(Kinda new to me, kinda new to my face) What is up with that???? lol lol lol

To much Chocolate! No just kiddin, are you starting premenapause? I have and I'm 44 and I get pimples now, and never when I was a teenager. But its the hormonal stuff going on, they say. Didn't know you fought cancer too. Jland is full of people that either has beat it or is going through it.
God Bless,

Hey Kim, I have some Avon Clearskin Dual Action Anti-Bacterial Clearnser for the skin, can you use it, send me a note, I'll send it on to you dear.  Look at the bright spot, I'd rather have a few pimples than wrinkles...so see pimples aren't all that bad. You really give me a good daily laugh dear...love you for that....Arlene (AJ)

PS/Was sincere about sending it if you'd like to give it a try and see if it helps.

Of all the indignities...
Well, I had read somewhere that chemo gives you fresh, youthful skin - too bad youthful skin also has acne!  But I'm sure there's something out there that will take care of those pesky zits.
Take care, Stephanie

Kim, you really had me going on. What a laugh I had at your expense. Sorry, Bill

Ack.   I got more pimples late 30's/early 40's than I recall EVER getting during high school.  Or, I nicely forgot them.  But, 44?   I'm 4, and happy to say mine are calming down again by now.   I do hope yours go away, soon:)   -- Robin

I busted out at the hemmroid part LOL! I used to be a size 5...Still have my jeans, too. I'm not ready to admit they wont fit again. :/  Pimples? Try Lancome's line for oily skin. It'll clear those things right up. {I'm just saying ;))

One of the few benefits of menopause is that I don't get pimples right before my period anymore. No period, no pimples.

I'm 36 years old...never knew what a hemroid really was until last year when I was up North in the Maine Woods blue berry picking and suddenly had to go number two...No bathrooms only trees....Think I just strained a little too much in that awkward position...lol
Now I know what they are...
As far as Pimples "Plural" I am just recovering from my monthly and the Pimples that came with it.......Awful. Todays clearasil just dont cut it...
