1 or 2? lol lol lol

I had taken my youngest Daughter Rachel to get her eyebrows waxed, it was only the second time that we had done this, as pretty as this child is she is cursed with Oscar the grouch kinda eyebrows....I'll blame that on her Fathers side of the family.....the ends literally grow the other way...so at the ends they are overlapping one another...so she wanted the wax job as part of her sweet 16 birthday package....no worries I thought last time I was a horrible Mother and laughed at her pain....I tell her beauty is pain and pain is beauty.

So the two of us walk into the salon and there is a language barrier....I announce that I would like my daughter to have her eyebrows waxed and the woman says........one or two?.... I say to myself HUH??....I say both of course why would anyone just have one eyebrow waxed right?? again she says 1 or 2.......I reiterate 2!!!!!! she then points to my eyebrows and says one or two? Now I get it she's asking if I want mine done.......I say hell no I just got mine back from chemo and nobody's going near them! lol lol lol

She did a beautiful job on Rachies eyebrows.....no more Oscar the grouch eyebrows! lol lol lol

I don't know where this person is coming from below Kim but....ignore her!  I found your entry hilarious and loved imagining the scenario.  Keep 'em coming angel.  Keep 'em coming.   (Bitter people like her are unimportant.)   Hugs Jeanie

I was gifted with my Dad's eyebrows also. Mom didn't have to do a thing. Two nice arches.  I wanted those so badly! ~Mary

Kim, when I was 13 someone talked me into shaving my eyebrows, that it was quicker than plucking.  What a mistake. They never grew back fully. I've had to do the Marlena Dietrich thing forever...thank God for eyebrow pencils..lol...and I did it to myself.  Love,  Sandi

I JUST USE THE TWEEZERS. I DON'T THINK I COULD STAND SOMEONE THAT CLOSE TO MY FACE THAT I DON'T KNOW...IT JUST GIVES ME THE CREEPS.

I just use tweezers also.  And I kinda like mine a little on the fuller side... and now I am getting old I noticed I had to get rid of like the original brows I had one at a time.  Geez Louise they grew so long I thought what on earth is happening to my body.  One at a time too or just two or three... thank goodness not all at once.  Sigh.  And so now, they kinda seem to be past that stage and they aren't as dark as they once were.  Maybe I got blond in them when I colored my hair these past few years.  I dunno.  So now I have to use a pencil everyday to darken them up as I think they look way better that way.  And you are so right, pain is beauty and beauty is pain.  I like that.  Hugs,
Lisa

LOL, that reminded me of my experience.  I went to the salon to get a pedicure and manicure and decided last minute to get my eyebrows done.  This was a first time for me, so I go in lay down and she motions for me to close my eyes.  I closed my eyes and she slathers that hot wax on me, but then also puts it above my lip!  I can laugh about it now, but what a shockeroo!
