Having a good day!

Just got back from taking several more inches off my hair! Talk about deja vu, This looks a lot like the pixie hair cuts I used to get as a small child!  When I get used to it, I will try to get another picture to share with you all........I'll have to do it soon though I have about 10 more hair days....then it's the bald chick with the funky earrings until I can grow back my own! lol

I misunderstood my Oncologist..I will need eight weeks of chemo, not six....such is life! So at least it will all be over with around my 44th Birthday and I can start the rest of my life then.....44 year old broad running around with perky new boobs, a tiny waist and a new attitude! lol lol lol

Still feeling pretty good even after chemo....a little forgetful and a little tired, but life is good and I am thankful!

Does it depend on the type of Chemo you have that determines whether or not you lose your hair? Two of my friends didn't lose their hair.

Glad to hear you feeling ok and 8 weeks isn't so long, you'll be finished well before Christmas.

I've got my fingers crossed that you continue to feel well during your Chemo.... My understanding (from when my Aunt went thru it) is that it effects different people differently.... Some people get so sick they worry about them losing too much weight, etc. Other people just sail thru with very little side effects other than being a little tired or dizzy.... I really hope you are going to be in the second group.

Hang in there.... And I agree with the previous commenter... I think you will look FABuLOUS Dahling even if you are bald! {{{{{Hugs}

Kim, just love your upbeat attitude, keep it up, you can't be anything but a winner when all this chemo stuff is done.  You're already one hot chick to all your readers, pretty on the inside and out.  Bless you.....Arlene

Good old' chemo brain!  That is so much fun!  You actually have something to blame your forgetfulness on, and it's legit! lol

Glad you are doing well!

Kim,  We called that forgetfulness "chemo brain".  Opps...left the stove on again, must be chemo brain! LOL  I hope and pray you will feel this good after all eight sessions.  Thanks for the link to your photo blog.  David

I'm looking forward to seeing the new haircut.  A brand new you is transforming out of this.  It's so sexy to be 40 something.  I hope you feel this upbeat through all eight weeks.

Kim--  I'm thinking of you..  I share an office with someone who was going through chemo last year.  She wore some really beautiful scarves during that time.  She is doing well, now, and has a whole new head of beautiful hair.  You are such a strong and beautiful woman--thank you for sharing your life with us.  I am in admiration of you.  Take care, and stay strong!  Julie :)

But be careful of the metals. You may taste metal for awhile from the chemo...and some jewerly may bother you.
Silky jamas are always nice though....
Thinking about you always.
I am happy to hear you have your eye on the prize...Love TJ

You are such a kick in the ass for me, but in a real good way, I must say thank you.  I always appreciate my life alittle more when I come see how strong you are being in the face of all this.  again thanks for getting me more motivated to live a good life now.  We could all do well from that advise.

Yah know, when I read about this journey of yours, I'm just amazed at the cowgirl up saying you wrote...I know that is the way we have to be because we could fall apart and thirty years later, we are still alive and look back and regret giving up...I know all of that....but I still marvel at you and others that look forward...I dont know what kind of strength I have but I would only hope I would be strong and be able to look back and be happy that I handled it the best way I could. It just sounds like good words on paper but really, your strength amazes me. IN thirty years, your journal will be interesting for you to read....as well as others..-Raven

I keep hoping that your reaction to it will be easy.  A pixie cut probably looks good on you...we can call you Tinkerbell..LOL...don't worry about forgetting anything, you have people around you who will remember...keeping you in my thoughts & prayers...Sandi http://journals.aol.com/sdoscher458/LifeIsFullOfSurprises

I used to get a pixie haircut as a kid, too. That shows our age, yanno?  Nobody else knows what a "Pixie" haircut is LOL!
You're doing great.  Just take it easy.
