Taking a break....

Thank you everyone that has showed such love and compassion to my family and myself...you are truly angels among my family.

I am having a hard time having to go through all this again so soon from the last time, it's all still to fresh in my head and I need to go inside myself for a few days to gather more strength, I am so very tired, I can't think, I can't write I don't have the strength right now to do that so I need to shut down for a few days. I did start my radiation Monday and I will be getting a week off of chemo starting Thursday afternoon...I am hoping I get a little reprieve from the fatigue, the dry heaves, the not so dry heaves and the body aches.

I promise I'll write when I can....you all mean so much to me!

Love,

Kimberleigh

Kim,

Stay strong! We're all here for you when you are able to return. Take as much time as you need to steel yourself for the fight.  I wish I could help you more then just offering you words.  If you ever need anything, call upon me and I will help as much as I can...but for now...You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.  You are a true Warrior against this ugly thing called Cancer.

Much Love,

~Jenn~

Dear God ...
Please accept our love and prayers for Kim and her family whilst she is fighting this cancer.  Let our prayers, energies, thoughts and feelings melt your heart and give Kim the break she needs by granting her the miracle of good health.  She has fought so hard and is so determined to stay with her family a long time.  Nobody deserves good health more than her.  She has taken everything that has been thrown at her and more... Please bless her and her family and help them through this worrying time.   Keep her safe.  In You we trust.  Amen

I remember my first six months in the hospital, out of a total of thirtheen.for second and third degree burns and other things.  When my bad days came I thought about the people who love and care about me and a little part of me was feeling lonely sad. If people wanted to see me or to contact me. I had forgotten that when they come; they are my days, a twenty-four seven experience and nothing I would share much-less wish on anyone. I put all my attenion on myself and nobody can live more then experience this period. I had turly became an army of one. After the battle I would thank God then look for love ones and friends they were still all there. It is the help I need to train for my next fight; I still have enough time! hey! could win the champinonship

You must rest as much as possible. Sleep is such a great healer. I was reminded of this yesterday, I had one of my rare, fatigued days, where I fall asleep, maybe fifty times, mid sentence..mid action, even eating. Don't know why, sometimes I think I just overdo it and my body shuts down. I'm sure you will understand that feeling. Don't fight it, just sleep and allow your loved ones to take care of you. Soon you will feel so much better.

Kim,  Sometimes we just gotta figure out how to get through the next minute, then hour and then day.  Take all the time you need. As one of your silent readers, I felt it was time to speak up and let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure there are others like me who read your words, close the page, and then spend much time thinking about all you have been through and are again going through.

This decision to take some time to climb inside of yourself is a wise one. Sometimes we find the balance we are lacking and the strength to do what we feel is best for ourselves and our situations.

You are in far more prayers than you could possibly imagine...even outside of the J-land realm and into the daily lives of others.

I wish you inner harmony and good health.

Take care.

Kim I have been a lurker off and on in the past and recently my (and your) dear friend Mary brought me back to your journal I think as a lesson in "shut up until you have something to complain about" <G>  You are an incredibly beautiful and strong woman and I have learned so much from your journal about who I want to be when I grow up. <wink, I'm 42>
I believe strongly in the power of prayer and positive thinking and I can only imagine what would happen if all these people out here who obviously love and adore you so much, pictured in their mind killing just ONE cancer cell I bet we could get you feeling strong enough to want a Burger King instead of fruit. <vbeg>
You take your "me time" and I will go back to lurker mode, but know there are many of us silent angels keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
