It seems I am back to my old feisty self....sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes that's a bad thing.!
After getting back from celebrating my Gramma Annies 89th birthday I came home to the outside of my home being vandalized...let me rewind. My Youngest Daughter seemed to have a falling out with her best friend because I nixed that friendship because of some really dumb decisions made while they were together. So on Friday night I come home to silly string all over my mail box and my middle daughters car....no harm done, but last night because I did nothing about the silly string they came back and not only egged my home but paint balled it too! Not a good idea......when you know my temper and this girl knows my temper.
So I had no problem calling her home, let's just say this child is not a priority in either one of her parents, so she is left to run wild..not my kid, not my problem, but when you bring it to my door....then it's my problem! The Father who seems to have some sense sends the lil deviates over to clean it all up....think 11:00 P.M. and bitter cold out....I told them I didn't care if they had to scrape it off with their teeth, they were going to clean it all up! One girl who doesn't have the pleasure of knowing my temper dared to mouth me....I have no problem getting back in her face! Told her I have no problem waiting until she's 18 to kick her ass...........oops my bad!
Since I did nothing about the silly string, they thought it was ok to come back and do more....so I showed them 'crazy' and still filed a police report...not to mention the older daughters who car was damaged, made a few threats of her own if this escalates into something physical with my younger daughter at school....after the police left my home at almost 12:00 A.M. he was on his way over to the other girls house to make a few threats of his own, I'm sure her parents were very excited about yet another late night interruption...This is a child who I opened up my heart and my home to because of the problems she was having with her typical teenage life and her other problems...she admitted she did it (the vandalism) to me if not her own parents.
I let you know how this all pans out.......it better be the last time or this Momma ain't going to be happy! lol lol lol

Nasty piece of work, you did well showing them who's the boss - Momma !
Bless your heart........why in the world di those teens want to do a thing like that for??? They must have too much time on their hands.....and no one to see that they behave well.....You did right...Hope you have no more crap out of them....
Take care,
love ya,
carlene
After everything else you've been through in the last year, you certainly didn't deserve this. Teach those little brats a lesson!!

I believe you actually did that girl a favor. She sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen and it doesn't seem like her mom or dad are doing much to stop it. She needed someone like you to step on the brakes for her.
Glad to see the feisty Kim is back!! (lol)
((hugs)

oh no I can't believe they thought they'd get away with it, good for you for taking a stand, I would have called the police too. MISSY

I'm so sorry about this Kim. You certainly don't need the aggravation, especially since you have helped this girl out in the past. Kids have "wrapped" my Granddaughter's house many times, but here in Texas, it's kind of a popularity thing....only the popular kids homes are wrapped. I hope this is the last incident and that they have learned a lesson.
Take Care,
~Bilinda~
How awful!!!!! I can't believe even if they did have a falling out that she would be so crude knowing you just got over cemo and all that has been taking place with your health that she would do such a thing...I also feel so bad for your daughter as these things can be so over whelming to a teen girl at school...it is hard enough just with the school sometime then to add unneeded drama to all the emotions of growing up...grrrrr!!! Will be prayig for you all...and even the little devil that did this to your home she really does have some problems!!!! Hugs,TerryAnn
WOW. You have every right to be up in that girl's face. I know I would be. You handled it better than I would have! WHAT NERVE! She will remember this though, when she "grows up" and realizes what she did and she'll have to reflect on that and come to terms with WHY she acted in such a manner.
Your daughter's a very fortunate to have such a loving and strong mom by their side. I hope things get smoothed out quickly.
Hugs,
Michelle

Wow!! I can't believe that happened! GOOD for you getting them to clean it all up and being so .....MEAN! I wish I'd seen you in action. I'd be afraid if I were a kid. Your kids are so lucky to have you for their mom. You probably make them feel so protected and safe. They know mom will take care of things.
Hope it settles down now.
Pam
Way to go Kim, maybe she'll have learned something from you since she doesn't seem to get the necessary discipline from her family. Glad you filed the police report, smart move. If more parents would set some rules for their kids instead of thinking they are all just darling angels, what a nicer world we'd all be living in. Arlene (AJ)
What little brats!!!!
You handled it well...
I hope since you filed a police report...
they learned a damn lesson!
Keep us updated as to how it goes...
So sorry you had to go through that mess
Hugs,
Terri
Good for you. You gotta stop them in their tracks or it will escalate. We even called the police for graffiti on the pavement in front of our house. The police recognized the signs as that of kids from another town near by and the city came out to spray black paint over it. Paula

I can relate , someone smeared taco sauce or something under the handle of my husbands car... the day I borrowed it! I know that his little car has had ketchup and eggs tossed on it previously, so I am thinking someone has it out for husband!
And I chewed him a new one ala " Who the %$*#" has it out for YOU and WHY??" . A neighbor seems to think it is a local youth who is doing it just because it is there. Or maybe cause we yell "slow down" to the hot-rodders.
I called the cops ,who can't do anything ,so I tell them , well there is going to be a horse shit incident on some teenagers car in a few months when they least expect it.
Ha Ha , the cop says " I didn't hear nuthin."
Good for you! That's hopefully a lesson she will remember all her life. You did a good thing, even though I'm sure she's not thinking that at the moment. :-) I have NEVER been able to get away with anything and it's kept me out of a lot of trouble.
Stephanie
Good for you, Kim! Nip it in the bud right away, or it will always grow into bigger problems. Glad you showed them that you meant business. I haven't seen a house egged in ages - probably the last time was when I went trick or treating on Hallowe'en, and THAT was a long, long, time ago. Take care!
Sincerely, Rose

I don't blame you! It's a good thing you did call the police and get them involved. If that group isn't stopped, no telling what they'd do next.

oh, my...hope it turns out okay.

Been there, done that. It makes me think when crap like this happens that the parents need an ass kicking, too. Do what you have to, and good luck.
