For my fellow journalers that live in the far south and can't enjoy the beautiful colors of fall. Another short series called "Fall"

Lighthouses.....in series (2)

This is the lighthouse that sits in Michigan.......St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area of Lake Michigan. It has a very long concrete walk out that the local fisherman spend all day casting and exchanging old fish stories with anybody that happens to smile their way.

Lighthouses....In Series (1)

 Another favorite for me to photograph has to be lighthouse. From their whimsical colors to the heroic duties. I'm in love with their colors and their heroic duties. And as far as the scenery that surrounds them, it doesn't get anymore beautiful then that. On a trip back from Niagara Falls my family and I decided to make our way back to Chicago slowly and take in all the little towns that bordered Lake Ontario, Lake Erie and South Eastern Lake Michigan. "Barns"....in series (4)

This barn unfortunately was taken down recently too. It was probably one of the largest barns I had ever seen and its red color was stunning in contrast to the emerald green of the sod farm that was next door to it.

This one I really love because it is so well hidden from view that if you drive by to fast you will probably miss it.
