You know I think it is also because we certainly do not get the horrible winters we use to when I was a kid...wind chills below zero...heck temperatures way below zero! We haven't had snow storms where it took weeks to dig out of. Maybe I should knock on wood! Ha! I just saw a bit of color yesterday also near my friends. I agree...I think this bit of heat may be the last being starting mid Sept now! Enjoy the colors!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7325978708379517839.post-31145318469100791802005-09-10T10:55:00.000-07:002005-09-10T10:55:00.000-07:00Enjoyed your leaves because when I left New Orlean...Enjoyed your leaves because when I left New Orleans to come here, well, I left the leaves behind.

I do have one tree in back corner of my backyard. You'd think, being as we're in Arizona, they'd have planted the tree to SHADE the house, but it sheds all over back there. I'm not really complaining because not everyone has a tree. I live near Chicago, and have here in the midwest for
45 years. I used to dread the winters. I would even get depressed.
But with each year, they bother me less and less. I too feel the winters and I have gotten more comfortable with each other.
Thank you so very much for sharing this.
